The Centre for Globalisation Research (CGR) conducts research, dissemination and user engagement activities around three research themes:

• Political economy and macroeconomics
• Development, inequality and poverty
• Business analytics, innovation and networks

Since 2008, scholarly outputs, many underpinned by research grants, include 102 peer-reviewed journal articles, four books, nine book chapters and 105 papers in the CGR Working Paper Series.

We also discuss our research, events and discussion on current issues in CGR Blog. During the pandemic, we are posting our recent discussion and working papers on COVID19. 

The Centre hosts the Research Circle for the Study of Inequality and Poverty (RCSIP) as a research cluster.
